Raw Material Pumps

Alloy Ramveyor Piston Pump

Design features set the ALLOY Ramveyor apart from all others.   Consider the following features:   

 

EDIBLE - the Ramveyor is available in a Stainless version which has USDA approval for edible applications.

 

CIP - the Ramveyor can be supplied with a CIP option, permitting complete cleaning of the pump without disassembly.

 

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT - the positive seal of inlet and outlet knife gate valves assure maximum efficiency and process pressure for your application. 

DURABILITY - the Ramveyor is designed with a minimum of moving components; each component has proven to have low wear characteristics.

EASE OF SERVICE - when maintenance is required, the Ramveyor can be easily disassembled by a single individual. Replacement of the main Ram tube and seals return the pump to original specifications in minutes.

CONTROL - the Ramveyor incorporates a simple and accurate control scheme. A PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is used to simplify the system and provide rapid service when required.  Timers are also supplied as a "back up" system assuring continued operation.

 

SINGLE

Single Ramveyors are used when constant flow is not required and operations are not critical or when volumes exceed 150,000 pounds per hour.

DOUBLE

Double Ramveyors are recommended whan constant flow is required, operations are critical or flows exceed 135,000 pounds per hour.

The Original Lamella Pump

JS Lamella Pumps

The use of Lamella Pumps has increased in the industry creating several “copies” of the original. Your operation is critical, why buy a copy? Why not invest in The Original? The JS Lamella pump has superior design, service access, greater duration between service and a lower overall cost of ownership.

 

All wear parts are replaceable on a JS Lamella pump. Cam discs wear faster than the top and bottom plates and are replaced 4 to 5 times before the top and bottom plates require replacement. This design increases uptime while reducing operating expenses.

 

Flexible Utilization

Wear bars are bolted to the rotor assuring no material gets between the rotor and wear bar.  This is important because if the wear bar becomes loose there is a risk of product/material getting squeezed in between the rotor and wear bars. The result is the wear bars press against the lamella’s creating higher friction and increased wear.

JS lamella pumps are designed with Mechanical seals, which take up less space than other seal types.  Mechanical seals also help guarantee proper fit and seal assuring no foreign materials enter the bearings extending its useful life.

Smooth Transition

On a JS Lamella pump the shaft end and Rotor are assembled with 8 bolts, which are tightened to a specified torque. On similar pumps the rotor and shaft end are bolted but also welded together. By not welding those 2 parts, disassembly and re-assembly are much easier.  Not having to cut the assembly apart for maintenance and service also provides longer life for both parts.
