The photograph above is an example of the quality remanufacturing service that Alloy offers for batch cookers. This Anco 5x16 foot cooker, completely remanufactured, reshelled in our ASME code welding shop. The shaft and paddles have also been remanufactured.
External shells are ultrasonic tested for thickness. Any areas that are thin or do not meet code requirements are replaced.
Alloy reshells batch cookers with materials thicker than offered by other OEM's, adding years to their useful life at a nominal investment. In the photographed case above, a 3/4" liner was replaced with a 1" inner shell with wear rings installed. The combination of the thicker base material and the reinforcing ring nearly doubles the life of the vessel.
Alloy shafts are constructed from 1020 carbon steel or better. Round shafts are made from Turned, Ground and Polished material (TPG) eliminating any surface laminations that might lead to premature failure.
Alloy offers a complete line of paddle components for your cookers, round and square designs are inventoried at Alloy as well as Nuts, Bolts and Keys. Alloy remanufactured paddles are hardfaced on all wear surfaces and offer a 60 month warranty against premature wear and failure.
